We really shouldn’t be surprised by anything coming from Japan these days. I mean, this is the country with “complete the tongue twister or get kicked in the junk” game shows. In fact, this move seems to almost make sense since…well, green tea is yummy and so is Coca-Cola…so what’s not to like? Of course, Coke is trying to pass this off as some kind of “health-conscious” beverage because green tea is full of good stuff like anti-oxidants and such but let’s not kid ourselves here…it’s still Coca-Cola and there’s no argument in the world that is going to convince anyone that all that sugar is in any way good for you. I’m sure, however, this is better than that curry flavored green tea that Jeremy Clarkson had when he was racing the bullet train in the GTR.
That being said…I want to give this stuff a try and will probably see if any of my friends in Japan want to mail me a bottle. Anyone going to Japan anytime soon?
